As the firm’s founding partner, Jack has served the legal needs of Rhode Islanders since 1973. He has helped countless clients with personal injury, business law, planning, zoning, land use and real estate, wills, trusts, probate, and estate matters. He has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

In addition to serving his clients, Jack served the citizens of Rhode Island for more than five (5) decades as a State Representative and a State Senator. His knowledge and ability to get things done led his peers to elect him to various leadership positions within the Legislature, including Senate President Pro Tempore, Senate Majority Leader, Senate Majority Whip, and Senate Judiciary Chairman. He served as Chairman of the Special Legal Commission to establish the Brown University Medical School, Chairman of the New England Board of Higher Education, Chairman of the Rhode Island Children’s Code Commission, and Chairman of the Board of the Senate President’s Forum. He is the Moderator of the Wesquage Community District and has served on the Board of Directors of many non-profit and for-profit entities.
